Lou Killilea, owner of DeMoyne’s Greenhouse in Columbus, Ohio, recently shared her clever succulent containers for a story, “Thrift Shop Chic”, in Ohio Gardener, Missouri Gardener, Indiana Gardener, Wisconsin Gardener and Pennsylvania Gardener. She and her daughter Kathy shop thrift stores for second-hand treasures to upcycle as garden containers. Check out the July/August issue to see their stylish succulents in boots, crocs, lipstick cases, handbags and more. Also, see Debra Knapke’s post about favorite succulents.
I enjoyed seeing your garden and hearing about Brittany’s graduation. I have heard so much about the children from Jane (and Daryl) that it is fun to put it all together with a setting!! You have done a wonderful job on your gardens and I love the Trendspotting. We have had so much rain that my vegetable garden looks sick and so many of my flowers get beaten down by the rain while in bloom-a little discouraging.
Have fun on your upcoming cruise.

Thanks so much! It was a great time with family. We just returned from our cruise to celebrate Daryl and Jane’s 50th wedding anniversary. So fun!!!!
